Assalamu Alykum Wa Rahmatuallahi Wabarakatuh,

On behalf of the Muslim Action Coalition (MAC), a 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to advocating for justice, equity, and representation for Muslim New Yorkers, we are proud to announce our endorsements for the 2025 elections.

These endorsements are grounded in the voices of our community. They reflect the results of a survey conducted by the New York Muslim Action Network (NYMAN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which gathered input from Muslim constituents across the five boroughs.

Based on that input, MAC endorses the following candidates in the following ranking:

Mayor:

  1. Zohran Mamdani

  2. Brad Lander

  3. Jessica Ramos

Public Advocate:

1. Jumaane Williams

Comptroller:

  1. Justin Brannan

  2. Kevin Parker

Borough Presidents:

  • Brooklyn: Antonio Reynoso

  • Queens: Donovan Richards

  • Bronx: Vanessa Gibson

Brooklyn District Attorney

  • Eric Gonzalez

These candidates have supported uplifting underserved communities: defending civil rights and addressing the unique challenges facing Muslim New Yorkers. We believe they represent a bold and inclusive vision for our city.

We urge our community and allies to support these leaders at the ballot box and to remain engaged as we work toward a more just and representative New York City.

جزاك الله خيراً

Jazakallahu Khair

Thank you,

Ammar Elahi
